"Close your eyes and imagine that you are somewhere in Provence, maybe in a lavanda field near Valensole. The sun is high in the sky, the heat is intense, the singing of the cicadas is loud but relaxing and you know you need to find freshness. At last you find it, you sit under the gentle leaves of a fig tree and you enjoy the shadow of its body. Now you are at peace, you can close your eyes for a few minutes and enjoy a nice mediterranean nap..."À l'ombre du figuier" was inspired by these kinds of beautiful moments that you can experience in Provence. I recorded it in my home studio in Hyères, on my felted schimmel piano."
