In 2018 I was contacted by two brave american women who had seen The Cakemaker, liked my music and asked me if I was interested in scoring their documentary called "On Our Own Island", a timeless true love story that chronicles the seasons of a relationship from its romantic beginnings through life’s final moments. Amazed by this incredible true story I said yes straightaway.
Scoring the film of Ellie and Sky was a life changing experience that I'll never forget and I do hope that everybody will have the opportunity to watch it and feel the beauty of the vibrant emotions showed in this strong statement about love, life and death.
I am so happy to finally share this soundtrack with the world and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed composing it.
